creature mods that do not add followers or quests will also not be covered


About the spreadsheet

The Tuxborn Companion spreadsheet will continue to be updated (when 1.2 drops) at least until the companion website can fully replicate all its features (it's missing in particular the possibility to link your checklist to some account)

How to Start

Approaching Solitude after meeting the requirements, you'll get a quest objective to investigate the panic outside the Bards College and that will start the mod's questline.

Miasma is a fully-voiced quest that will take you through the Ashlands of Solstheim as you assist a member of Argonia's An-Xileel in taking down a rogue Telvanni wizard. The quest features new locations, a temporary companion, and plenty of spells and equipment for the player to find throughout the story.

How to Start

The quest can be started by speaking to Haj-Xul at the Retching Netch in Solstheim.

A Daedric quest in which you enter the nightmares of three ex-cultists of Vaermina. Includes nightmare-themed spells, enchanted artifacts, and an Atronach Forge-style trading system.

Where to Start

How to Start

Head to Cragwallow Slope near Ivarstead and find the Idol of Vaermina inside it; read the note near the idol to start the quest and get information about it.

Notes

The three locations will be signed on your map once you read the note; Fort Greenwall should be the last by design. A special crafting station is present in the Courier's dream: you will be able to craft unique spell tomes and equipment using materials found during the mod quest; also you can craft Ebony Ores with Straw.

When told to leave by the door at the very beginning of the quest, say "Fine, I'll go" to skip a persuasion check. If you get the "bad" ending, you can still pickpocket the reward of the "good" ending from Calithar .

You will dive in the Sea of Ghost to explore a vast submerged Dwemer Ruin. The dungeon has new spells, ingredients and unique weapons as well as new enemies and an intriguing story. Once you make it through the first section, you will gain access to a Dwemer themed home: the Aquarium.

Once you have completed The Lost Expedition, a courier will approach you with a letter from Calcelmo directing you towards the Alecton to start the quest; alternatively, you can start the quest anytime you want by entering the Alecton and waiting a bit (the quest will start automatically).

Notes

Make sure to stay on the elevator when you pull the lever as it does not reset and will leave you behind if you fall off. One step of the quest is not marked on your map; simply return to the main hub (R'lyend, just outside of the Aquarium) and dive as if to go to the R'lyend Catacombs, then follow the path opposite to the door until you reach the Marinium Themae, there you will find The Abyss. After completing the first part of the quest, you will obtain the Ring of R'lyend which will allow you to teleport to the Aquarium (one way), a dwemer themed house. The Aquarium is a fully furnished, dwemer themed house with many aquarium-like decorations; it has a library, all crafting stations (staff enchanter included), spots for growing ingredients and much space for storage and also a soul gem converter station. If you decline the Abyss' offer later into the questline, you will not be able to keep the house. The house also features a creature follower: an Elysian Automaton like the ones you encounter in the dungeon; note, however, that it makes very loud noises. The mod rewards a power to subdue all automatons in your vicinity (once a day)

Notes

The second entrance is west of Hela's Folly, underwater; it will take you near the final boss area where most of the loot is, so it is not recommended to use it before taking on the rest of the dungeon. The main entrance is one-way; in order to exit the dungeon you will have to find the second entrance within it. Raised stones are scattered around the dungeon; activating them will summon minions to aid you in combat. The final boss arena can be accessed by interacting with the sword at the bottom level of the big ship at the center of the map.
